You can stock up on local provisions in the next village of Dyffryn, just two minutes away in the car, which has a Spar with award winning butchers, or if you fancy a night off cooking head to the village pub. If you want to venture further afield you will find larger shops and plenty of eateries in the popular seaside towns of Barmouth and Harlech, both just a few miles away. Whilst you are there you shouldn't miss the spectacular castle at Harlech. Perched on a rocky crag and backed by the mountainous peaks in Snowdonia National Park, it's hard not to be wowed by this mighty coastal fortress.
