You can stock up on local provisions in the next village of Dyffryn, just two minutes away in the car, which has a Spar with award winning butchers, or if you fancy a night off cooking head to the village pub. If you want to venture further afield you will find larger shops and plenty of eateries in the popular seaside towns of Barmouth and Harlech, both just a few miles away. Whilst you are there you shouldn't miss the spectacular castle at Harlech. Perched on a rocky crag and backed by the mountainous peaks in Snowdonia National Park, it's hard not to be wowed by this mighty coastal fortress.

The sunny conservatory is a great spot to hide away with a good book or the morning papers, whilst the open fire ensures the large living room is cosy all year round. In the summer throw open the French doors and enjoy a glass of wine and barbecue in the garden, or sit back and relax over a leisurely al fresco lunch surrounded by pretty flowers and peaceful surroundings.
